British Small Business Awards 2017: Young Business of the Year shortlist

The Young Business of the Year category at the British Small Business Awards will celebrate a company of less than three years old making a real impact in its chosen market.

The British Small Business Awards 2017, organised by SmallBusiness.co.uk and GrowthBusiness.co.uk, sponsored by Travelers, Salesforce and Dun & Bradstreet and held on November 1 at the Grand Connaught Rooms, London, is the leading awards ceremony in the SME space, rewarding the brightest stars of the UK small business scene, together with the vendors and advisers that help them start, run, grow and succeed.

Our latest shortlist announcement is the Young Business of the Year category.

This category will reward the small business of less than three years that has accomplished the most in the timeframe, with factors such as consistent/growing sales over the past 18 months, a niche position in its industry, longevity, and/or outstanding innovation.

After careful consideration and a close scrutiny of how each candidate matched up to the criteria, the Young Business of the Year finalists are revealed as:

Aira Digital
MWL&S Ltd
Nexus Fusion
Omnis Data
Pedalcover Insurance
Pip & Nut
Solesmith
The Green Energy Advice Bureau
The Profs
Well&Truly

Our new Young Business of the Year category was introduced to celebrate the businesses that can achieve impressive results in a short space of time. These companies were all formed, and are successful, on the basis of new customer demands. They truly have a finger on the pulse of today’s market requirements and it will be a tough task indeed for the judges to come up with a winner.

The British Small Business Awards is the leading celebration of the UK’s small business sector, recognising the nation’s best sole traders, micro businesses and small companies – as well as the service providers, financiers and advisers that support them.
